Dear NAM Friends and Beloved Members of our Maronite Churches,
With hearts full of joy and anticipation, we extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to each of you to the 59th Annual National Apostolate of Maronites (NAM) Convention, set to take place in the vibrant city of Detroit, Michigan! This gathering promises to be an unforgettable celebration of faith, fellowship, and the enduring spirit of our Maronite heritage.
The 2024 NAM Convention is an important occasion for our community, marking the return of this cherished event to the heart of the Great Lakes region after 27 years. We are thrilled to have the privilege of hosting this convention in the Detroit Marriott Hotel at the Renaissance Center. Under the theme, “Maronites on Mission: Created, Called, and Sent Forth,” we will embark on a journey of reflection and discovery exploring the profound call to serve God in our families and parishes, embracing our mission with renewed dedication. As we gather in Detroit from July 4th to July 7th, 2024, we are delighted to introduce you to a lineup of exceptional speakers who will enlighten and guide us on our spiritual journey. However, the NAM Convention is not just about enriching our minds; it’s also about nourishing our spirits and building lifelong relationships within our community. Evenings filled with dancing and fellowship await, ensuring that this convention is an experience for the whole family. From excursions to networking workshops to an afternoon boat cruise on the Detroit River, rest assured that this July 4th weekend will be a family-friendly experience for the whole Maronite Church in America and abroad! We are confident that this convention will leave a lasting impact on all who attend, and Detroit, with its rich history and welcoming spirit, is the perfect backdrop for this occasion.
