Dear Brother Priests, Deacons and Subdeacons, Consecrated Men and Women, Lay Faithful and Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I am happy to announce that Linda George, coordinator of the Office of Family and Sanctity of Life, is working on an initiative to begin the Women Of Grace program within our parishes. I would like to promote this group in all interested parishes. If at least 6 women from each parish are interested, then a facilitator can be chosen to do the required training. The facilitator should not be the wife of a priest, deacon or sub-deacon, but rather a faithful woman from the parish.
Women of Grace is a powerful Christ-Centered Bible Study that is based on core Catholic teachings and promotes the dignity of woman, their calling and their role within the Church. Through this study, women are strengthened and uplifted in God's divine plan for their lives. Johnette Benkovic Williams is the Founder and President of Women of Grace®, which features a number of conferences, study groups and more.
After years of being a non-practicing Catholic, Johnette experienced a deep conversion back to her Catholic faith in 1981. Her conversion sparked a new vocation: sharing the Gospel message through the media. She has been an inspiring presence on Catholic radio since 1987 and in Catholic television since 1988. Johnette is the host of Women of Grace television and radio programs on EWTN. She is also a popular conference speaker, retreat conductor, author and presenter.
