Alleluia! Let us praise the Lord.
Early Sunday morning heaven sings with joy
and the earth is glad,
for the Lord is truly risen from the dead.
On his Father’s right, he sits upon his throne;
angels worship him.Alleluia! Let us praise the Lord.
Women went on Sunday morning with perfume
to anoint the Lord.
At the tomb an angel clothed in light proclaimed:
”Christ is truly risen from among the dead
in great majesty!”Alleluia! Let us praise the Lord.
Holy God, the saints in heaven sing your praise
with the CHurch on earth.
Sanctify us, Holy Lord, and dwell in us,
that we may exalt your name, from age to age,
with the purest love.
