In the Mystery of the altar, my Lord is with me always,
in the sublime Mystery, Jesus becomes food,
in the sacrifice, the Son of God is man and God
He gave them the sacrifice by saying a word which leaves no doubt:

”This is my body, take from my hands and eat.”

After the meal and thanksgiving, he said the same words about the wine:

”Drink, my people, for this is my blood”
