Dear Brother Priests, Deacons and Subdeacons, Consecrated Men and Women, Lay Faithful:
On this, the second anniversary of the Beirut explosion, much will be said (mostly negative) in the news about Lebanon. I offer here some positive reflections on our beloved Lebanon.
The first is a recent interview on EWTN. The second is a talk given at this year’s annual Religious Freedom Summit in Washington DC.
Both highlight the importance of Lebanon, as well as the heroic efforts many are presently undertaking to help her through this current crisis.
