January 29, 2023: Sunday of the Priests

Blessed are you O priests who left this passing world trusting in God’s mercy. May the body of Christ that you bore, the baptism with which you were clothed and the mysteries that you administrated enable you to escape eternal torments, inherit life and enter in to the kingdom.

Lord, do not let evil touch the priests who served your Church, offered your sacrifice, distributed your body and blood and administered your sacraments to the faithful.

Lord, may the hear these words: “Come blessed of my Father, enter into the paradise of joy.”
